Part 1:  Islam and Muslims respect all religions

A supporter of my book, “Allah: Understanding God in Islam”, came to my home at 3 pm today (7 October 2016) to get the book (two copies).  He is Mr Muhammad Hafidz Zainal Abidin who my wife and I first met on board the ship, Nippon Maru, on the way to Brunei Darussalam from Tokyo in November 1995.

To round up the event of the publication of my latest book, “Allah: Understanding God in Islam”, I am putting the photos of the supporters of the book in three parts. This post today is Part 1 and it carries eight photos of relatives and friends who bought the book.

In the Preface of the book, I mentioned: “The subject is presented through Islam’s message and its inherent logic with quotations from the Qur’an itself.  Islam and Muslims respect all religions as each has its own forte to contribute to society and humanity…this book is dedicated to anyone and everyone, irrespective of race, religion or culture, who reads it to gain an understanding of God in Islam.  Hopefully, the understanding would bring Muslims and non-Muslims closer, live harmoniously and work towards making the world a better and peaceful place to live in.”

The book can be purchased only online to save cost; it is not available in bookshops. So, many of my relatives and friends had requested me to buy it for them instead, and I bought 60 copies for their convenience.

FOR REMEMBRANCE

When they get their copies, apart from the autograph, many wanted to take a photo with the author for remembrance.  However, I must apologise that, in the engrossment of chit-chatting with them, I forgot to take photos with some of them.

Since the 60 copies I first bought have been sold out (to relatives and friends), and after that some other friends wanted to buy the book from me, I purchased 25 copies more which were delivered last week (first week of October).  I now have 18 copies left.

So, if any others (Singaporeans) want to buy a copy from me (with a little discount for the sake of dakwah), email me to let me know at: skadir@hotmail.com and you are welcome to my home (HDB flat) to collect it.

Otherwise, you may purchase the book online from two places:

(1) Amazon.com ( https://www.amazon.com/…/…/1482865181/ref=pd_rhf_gw_p_img_1… )

(2) Barnes & Noble.com ( http://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/allah-shaik-kad…/1123811503… )

Each copy costs USD17:06 (about Singapore $23:00).
